The wonder of one hundred

Yesterday marked my 100th post as Blue Curtains and it is perhaps apt that it was for the Vena Cava show “Brisbane (a doing word)”. Over the months since it was suggested to me as part of a casual conversation that I should blog about all the theatre I see, I’ve attended lot of interesting and impressive shows. And I’ve met some fantastic, passionate people whose works have filled me with appreciation and pride for all that the Brisbane theatre scene has to offer. From the most lavish of musical productions through to the grittiest of independent shows, it continues to entertain and sometimes challenge me in that wonderful way that only live theatre can. And although I feel that I may have already seen some of what will become my 2014 highlights, I am already anticipating what the next hundred will bring.
